Our Financial Policy
Please be aware that payment is due in full at the time of service for any procedure completed, even exams. Our office accepts cash, check, money orders, cashier's checks, and all major credit cards other than Discover (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express).
If you have dental insurance, our staff will do our best to estimate what you will owe at the time of your appointment in advance. The payment portion they quote you is your out of pocket estimate, and due in full at the time of service.
Please be advised that your insurance coverage is an agreement between you/your employer and the insurance company itself. Our office has no influence on the benefits provided to you through your insurance. This means that sometimes, what the insurance company says they will cover - which is how our staff estimates your portion - may change or be different than what they truly cover. This means after you have paid your portion the day of your appointment, it is possible you could owe more after your claim has come back from the insurance company.
In additon, we may not be providers for your insurance. In this case, we will still submit your claim for your visits, but please be aware you may owe more at our office than what is estimated in your breakdown.
If you have dental insurance that allows for a pre-treatment authorization, we are able to submit one for you upon your verbal or written request. In this case, it is strongly recommended to schedule your treatment 3-4 weeks after the date your pre-treatment authorization has been submitted, as it typically takes this long for them to process the request.
If you are unable to pay in full the day of your appointment, our office does have the following payment options.
THREE MONTH IN-OFFICE PAYMENT PLAN (AUTOMATIC CREDIT CARD WITHDRAWLS)
You must visit our office and complete and sign an agreement form to be able to partake in this payment option. The form you will sign will authorize us to withdraw your pre-calculated payment amounts on specific dates. You must bring the credit card you wish to use for these payments along with you so the information can be recorded and left on your file for that specific treatment.
Your first payment using this option is due the day of service, and the following two payments are scheduled on days you desire one month apart at most.
Since your card is left on file, you do not need to call us to make any payments for this amount over the phone.
SIX MONTH PAYMENT PLAN USING CARECREDIT (THIRD PARTY FINANCING)
An extended payment option is available through CareCredit, an industry leader in dental care financing. This option is available for payment amounts over $200.
This payment option gives you the ability to pay your balance over the course of six months, interest free. You must be pre-approved before your treatment is complete. Once approved, you pay our office in full the day of your treatment appointment.
Please note: This is a third party line of credit, which means applying and/or being pre-approved will go on your credit score.
